Our Vision - Where We Are Going

Metallic human figures connected in a network on a blue surface.

Our Vision

A free, dignified, and resilient Myanmar where every displaced person, civilian, and resistance community has the resources, tools, and voice to rebuild their lives and shape their own future is supported by strong, credible, and self-sustaining civil society organizations.

Our Mission

Impact and Resilience Initiatives exists to stand alongside the people of Myanmar in their darkest hours. We partner with NGOs, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), resistance groups, and displaced communities to build their strength from within so that aid reaches further, organizations grow stronger, and the human spirit endures.

Our Identity

The IRI logo is composed of three bold red pillars cradling the map of Myanmar at their center. Every element is deliberate — together, they tell the story of who we are and why we exist.

• The Three Pillars — represent the three-finger salute — the universal symbol of resistance, freedom, and solidarity adopted by the people of Myanmar in their fight against military oppression. They stand tall, unwavering, and united — just as IRI stands alongside the communities it serves. Three fingers raised is not merely a gesture; it is a declaration that the human spirit cannot be silenced.

• The Map of Myanmar — held within the pillars, represents the land, the people, and the cause at the heart of everything IRI does. It is not incidental — it is central. Myanmar is not the backdrop to our work; it is the reason for it. Placing the map inside the pillars is a deliberate act of protection and purpose — the nation held up, supported, and never abandoned.

• The Color Red — speaks to courage, sacrifice, and the passion of a people who refuse to surrender their freedom, their dignity, or their future. It is the color of conviction — and of the long road still ahead.

Together, the logo tells a simple truth: we hold Myanmar up.
